Quilled Hellebore and Spring Starflower

This piece of art is placed on a frame of 18x24 cm.

All the elements of this work of art are handmade.

Each flower is made from paper strips of 1mm in width. All the flowers and leaves are stemmed one by one with wire that I wrap in crepe paper. The leaves are made by using a special type of paper that I paint.

A lot of hours and patience are put into making such a piece, taking up to 16 hours to make one.
