This piece of art is placed inside a shadowbox frame of 25x25 cm, behind an acrylic glass window.
All the elements of this work of art are handmade.
Each flower and berry is made from paper strips of 1mm width, that I roll on a quilling tool in order to make petals for the flowers and berries for the berry branches. All the flowers, berries, as well as leaves, are stemmed one by one with wire that I wrap in crepe paper. The leaves are made by using a special type of paper that I paint.
The background, on which the wreath is glued, is also hand-painted by me.
A lot of hours and patience are put into creating such a piece, taking up to 45 hours to make one.
